You could, in theory, isolate just that change, but that wouldn't make much sense.
The change to BANDIT_MODULE.f is only useful in the context of the CMake alternative/improved cross-platform build process.
That's why it's bundled with some other minor changes.
That's what the fork is for -- holding my changes. If you're comfortable with the state of the fork (i.e. the changes), feel free to merge.
