Thanks very much for this information. That is one reason I think it is prudent to pursue MYSTRAN as well. I will pass this along to someone else working on NASTRAN-95.
A response from another developer: "It is a problem for a packaged distribution. It does not effect distribution on Github. At some point, we can figure out how to get this license replaced with something like the MIT license. That is the license I prefer."
