Hello, good example.
As a suggestion in gmsh you can define directly vector and tensor results and from them extract any component in the options window (see attachment). Vectors can be ploted as deformation or vector plots. So in general you only need to create 1 vector result for displacements and 1 vector result for rotations, from them components can be ploted if required.
