Vittorio,

I remember you also posted about http://www.m3dfea.com/post-processing.html. Do you have any experience with FEX or M3D FEA? I think I will start a thread and a main item on mystran.com that points to useful programs like this (of course there is also pyNASTRAN).

up to now i just tried both programs reading some models from the examples (e.g. HEXA08-02-02-020-CANT-AR1-RED-2x2x2).
They works and can be useful to check the models.
For model inspection also VisIT and paraview have some capabilities in reading NASTRAN input.
Maybe also developing VTK output or OP2/F06/punch to VTK translator could be an interesting solution.
Paraview is a great post processor and a VTK output is relatively easy to understand.
