Click on the "MYSTRAN setup.exe" link below to download MYSTRAN Windows executable trial edition (version 5.32, built July 8, 2008) together with installation instructions, program documentation, and an example problem. This trial edition contains all of the features of MYSTRAN with no limitation on problem size (other than Windows operating system 2GB limit) and will run for 30 days following installation. The MYSTRAN setup.exe file contains the all of the individual files needed to run MYSTRAN. After downloading and running the setup file, read the readme.txt file to get instructions on how to use the other files.

This version has two significant upgrades over version 5.00. A RBE3 element has been added and QUAD4 shell elements can have stress output at the element corners as well as at the element center. Bulk Data entries can have the standard 8 column fields or they can be input in a comma separated format or a tab delimited format. Several errors have been corrected that were in versions 5.21 through 5.31. Changes were made in version 5.24 to greatly improve the performance for very large problems See the New-features.txt and Errrors-corrected.txt files, along with the program documentation, that will be installed when you download and run MYSTRAN setup.exe

Users that have McAfee antivirus (AV) software may have not been able to install MYSTRAN in the past. As of 7/2/2008 this problem has been resolved with McAfee (their DAT number 5329.0 and later) and users will have no more problems with the installation. This was never a problem with users of Symantic AV software or any other AV software, other than McAfee, that MYSTRAN Software Inc is aware of.

Once you order one of the MYSTRAN editions, you will be email'd a key, with instructions, to unlock the trial edition. The key will unlock the trial edition so that it will run past the 30 day trial period. Thereafter, that edition will not expire but software support (see file MYSTRAN pricing.pdf for definition of software support for the "Pro" and "Home" editions of MYSTRAN) will only be provided for 1 year from the time you receive your unlock key.
